Tobogganing

Going downhill at full speed sounds pretty good, but maybe boards aren't your thing? Then grab a sled and venture out on the almost 1-kilometer long toboggan run in Königsleiten. For little tobogganers, the toboggan run at the Finkenhof in Wald, which has less gradient, is ideal. Sled rentals are available at Sport Hölzl and Sport Shop Rieder in Königsleiten.

Ski tours

Less fast, but at definitely as spectacular: on ski tours you will see that it doesn't always have to be downhill on skis. On special, fur-covered skis you will travel through the winter wonderland of the snowy Alps. This trendy sport's tour offering ranges from a leisurely hut tour to climbing a 3,000m peak in the Hohe Tauern.

Bike feeling in winter

Königsleiten

Attention e-bike fans: here with us, you can live out your biking dream even in winter: going downhill on a snow bike is absolute fun for everyone aged 6 and older. There are curves like in summer, but of course they are much easier in the snow. If you like it even faster, you can use fat bikes. You can rent both at Unterwurzacher, across the way from MY ALPENWELT Resort.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides

Wrapped up snuggly, we head through quiet, snow-covered forests, and the peace and quiet is only broken by the bells on the horse-drawn carriage and the occasional snort - there's no more romantic way to get from A to B in the Alps than in a horse-drawn sleigh. The departure point is in Wald in Pinzgau with the Quehenberger family or at the Kreidl farm.
